Taking Items to the Clean Center
For bulky items like furniture or appliances that don’t fit in garbage bags, please take them directly to the Clean Center. A scale that can weigh your vehicle before and after disposal is used to calculate the disposal fee. Please contact the Clean Center for details. Designated garbage bags are not required for this service.
Using a Compost Bin
Soft vegetable scraps and other kitchen waste can be composted into fertilizer, which helps reduce trash and nourish home gardens or plants. Proper sorting and composting also help extend the lifespan of waste treatment facilities. The following is a guide from Nagoya City on how to make a cardboard compost bin.
